Reading the blue folder above gives the impression I spend much of my time in Africa… not at all… I am a truck driver based in Scotland,.. long days behind the wheel…parked up over night is where most of this story of ‘A Truck Driver Walking’ is being written.
Sunrise Africa Relief is a small team of people, travelling out to different parts of Africa throughout the year in small teams of two or three… I myself travel out once a year with my two hats in my back pocket as a volunteer for both SunriseAfrica Relief and the Universal Peace Federation.
How do I plan to raise money for Sunrise Africa through the telling of this story? Here's my thinking… the walk took forty days… I plan to post a day of the walk every two weeks… in return I’m kinda hoping it is ok for me to ask for the price of a cup of tea each month as a donation…when walking with nothing in your pocket… to be given a cup of tea was incredibly welcome. The smallest gift is precious… If you know people who you think would find this story interesting please pass it on.
